This beautiful machine, designed and produced in Germany will be of great benefit for those who use THC for medical and health reasons; especially for non-smokers.

After browsing the market for a quality vape I decided on the Aromed. I was somewhat concerned by the low rating given by one of the previous reviewers here.

The taste and smoothness of the vapor really is outstanding. I'm intending to experiment more with the temperature, up until now however I've run it at 190 C with very good results.

It's important to monitor the indicator lamp on the display, it goes from blinking to continous when the temperature falls below set point. The rate of inhalation should be corrected accordingly. The unit heats up within a minute or two, but I find it useful to give it another few moments for the heat to really permeate the element and chamber, otherwise the convection will chill the element quickly once you start sipping.

This may seem cumbersome for some people, and those may prefer the fan-type design commonly found in this pricerange. I however appreciate the noiseless design of this unit. I belive a faulty technique might the explanation behind the negative review. I find the effects of the vape quite different from what I get from smoking the substance, a fact I have attributed this to the exclusion of alkaloids with boiling points higher than 190C. Whether you find the resulting vape to your liking is probably a matter of individual taste, and of the particular alkaloid makeup of the herb you use. Expectations are naturally also an important factor.

There is virtually no bronchial irritation from the vape, and an expiration test through a thin patch of white paper shows no sign of discoloration. While I would have expected nothing less from such an expensive vaporizer, I am still astonished by the purity and flavour produced by this vaporizer.”

“I don`t know if it´s worth buing really. At 200C you have to inhale very, very deep about 10 times to get a noticeable effect from the "herb". The same with tobacco.
I get a much stronger effect when SMOKING either herb. First I thought there was something wrong with the machine, and I sent it back to the producer. They calibrated it at a higher temperature, but the problem remains. I have inhaled at many different temperatures and the effect is small.”

“I am a TOTAL believer! This is the best! Herb lasts way longer than smoking and has way better effects. Wife can`t smell it in the house or on my breath! Best temp around 190-200 c. Best advice is to forget everything you thought you knew about smoking and remember this is NOT A BONG so don`t use it like one. Follow instructions and you`ll get the hang of it.”
