Reviews for Pyramid vaporizer
Post a reviewPyramid vaporizer
The Vapor-Tech Pyramid vaporizer is designed to look as benign and inconspicuous as possible. To the untrained eye, it appears to be an over-sized paperweight in the shape of a pyramid.

“I repair lot of odd things; recently had one of these brought in. "It's dead!"
After disassembly and inspection, I determined that the heating element was "open".
With the owners permission, I disassembled the heater, and found that one of the leads to the element had broken; the other lead showed damage in the same place. Each lead consists of 3 wires twisted together; one was broken all the way through, and the other had one of the 3 wires broken. It looks like damage during manufacture.
Fortunately, the damage was a few inches away from the heater itself, so I used the smallest brass tubing I could find to make a crimp-splice on each of the leads.
Re-assembly was easy, and the unit now works normally.
Observation: A _considerable_ quantity of herbal material was found inside the base of the unit.
Heater components are well built, and appear to be mostly stainless steel.
The electronics are about as simple as they can be; there is no internal fuse or ground fault protection, but the design is such that there is little or no chance of shock hazard short of accidental immersion. I wouldn't use one of these near the bath tub.
Altogether, I have to say that this product works well; it does what it was designed to do.
