“The Vapir Oxygen arrived within two days. As recommended in various forums, you should heat-clean the device before first usage on highest temperature approx. 15 minutes to get rid of most of the plastic taste.
Exhale a few times into the vaporizer. This taste would be the only thing to complain about, but all in all, the Vapir Oxygen is surprisingly good. It heats up quickly (about two minutes for max temp). The usage and cleaning is self-explanatory. It comes with two spoons which can be useful for cleaning, but for filling in your herb just let it fall into the heating chamber, the spoons are quite senseless here.
The included brushing tool is perfect for cleaning the device. There also is an extra metal mesh in case the one already built in is damaged. If you inhale without the tube attached, it is a quite warm airflow, with the tube it's about room temperature. It is very efficient, up to now I could use a little bit of herbal incense four times (be careful to finely grind your herb to get the best effect). There is little or no steam, so it might look like you are just inhaling fresh air, don't be irritated by that. This device is perfect for either home use or travelling ("portable"). It has quite a low price in comparison to other vaporizers, so if you want to try this and stop smoking, this is a must-have.
I love it, especially as a sportsman, because vaporizing has little effect on the lungs because of missing carbon monoxide and other toxics resulting from the burning process (i.e. in bongs/pipes), there is no need for tobacco and it provides a smooth and cool inhale. 5/5, definitely.”

“A few notes on Vaping first:
When converting from smoking to vaping there is a learning curve. I had purchased "da Buddha" and at first i thought it was lame, i couldn't get the hits i needed or should i say wanted. But then i learned how to use it. how to control the temperature. It took about two hours to find what worked best. How fine you grind your herb and what temperature works best. Since Da buddha doesn't have a digital display you have to experiment. Vaping is a technique that once mastered you will never go back to smoking. I will admit that from time to time a bong hit is always good for the mind.
So, with that said do not make the Vapir Oxygen 02 mini your first vaporizer. You will be disappointed. This is undeniably the best portable vaporizer i have used. Portable being the key here. The herb chamber is large in caparison to other portable vaporizers. I have gotten up to 10 full hits off of one load.(I was ripped) It did take about two or three minutes to get these results but time is the key here. Your herb should be a golden brown color when done. There is a burn-in period that is unavoidable, but one you get past this, its all good. The temperature display is not totally accurate but will put you in the ballpark. For me i use it at 375 - 410 depending on the room temperature. Once again you have to find the "sweet-spot." How fine to grind, how hard / soft you need to draw, best temp. Because this is electric you do not need to worry about butane refills. It heats up fast, under two minutes at room temperature and does not make any noise. It is discrete and most people wont know what it is. It looks like some sort of electrical tool or soldering iron which for me is a bonus. The battery pack is a must have and one came with my unit at $124.00 for a grinder, battery-pack, wall plug and the unit. This devise will take a small amount of time to learn how to maximize its potential. Once you get it down you will be satisfied. ”

“Every feature including portability at $125 USD, hard to beat.
There are better vaporizers but none that are portable at that price.
To start, the unit definitely has a burn in period where the taste isn't very good, this is easily resolved by just letting the unit run on its own without inhaling. After a few sessions of it running on its own, most of the initial taste is gone so that's really not a big issue. Its sort of like complaining about a new car smell which is a bit lame, the smell does go away.
The chamber is super easy to fill and empty. Its as simple as pouring in the herb and using a stick to make sure the herb is where its supposed to be. After you are done, you remove the top, turn it over and tap out your herb.
Inhalation was a non issue, I got lots of vapor and didn't have to strain at all. It was quite relaxing in fact, just sat back, inhaled, blew out clouds of vapor. No idea how anyone using the unit properly could have a problem getting a good vapor hit.
End result - Initial taste is bad but easily avoided by giving the unit a proper burn in time. The unit is very easy to use and quite portable, also comes in at a great price point. Inhalation was super easy and it produced plenty of vapor.

“It sucks, don't be fooled by the bogus reviews, most of them probably authored by Vapir employees. Believe me, mine is in the bin. I imagine this won't get published, but if it does, please believe me. There is no airflow through this thing, you will give yourself a hernia trying to get a decent hit out of it. Remember, 5 star reviews for something this cheap (and it is horribly cheap and really not remotely worth the asking price) are very suspect indeed. There is a far more convenient alternative out there if you just look. I won't mention it by name or this review will be construed as biased. But one thing's for sure, I cannot recommend this poorly made device, or indeed any other Vapir product.”

“Small, simple, cheap, easy to use, and as portable as they come once you've got the car charger and battery pack.
Works best, in my opinion, with materials of a more solid nature.
Much so because of the small loading chamber,
(a copper chamber clad with a replacable filter screen)
which is about the size and shape of a cigarette filter.
I'd recommend it as a first vape, to those on a tight budget,
or just anyone who values portability.”

“Wicked Vape, these fools here don't know what they are talking about.
it's easy to load. bust then fill up the chamber with 1/4 of a joint.
turn it to 250 and wait until the light goes out.
usually takes about 3 min.
suck on the hose.
blow out big puffs of visible vapour.
get totally wrecked!
I love this vapir vape”

“yeah ... I wanted very much for this to be good..the digital readout is great... the portability factor is terrific... but I concur ... it is a cheap plastic POS...
besides a horribly rank plasticy taste, the loading process is bullshit.
for $125 there is probably a better unit out there... I feel like I have been taken.. try something else...

“Gave up smoking a year ago now. This was heaven sent. If your a smoker it won't work for you. Different sort of hit completley. When you've used a while, gets you smashed (also lasts a lot longer). Highly recommended if trying to give up smoking but not giving up the herb!”

“I had one for my birthday in October last year. I gave up on mine. I found the herb was always rising to the top of the chamber, partially blocking it and making inhalation really hard work. Also I seem to remember some metal flaking off the the inside of the bottom of the chamber which freaked me out a little. So then I bought a HerbalAire which i really love, tho perhaps not as portable. I also bought a guarantee which Vapir refused to refund even though now I have no intention of replacing the unit. ”
