How does the VaporGenie Provide Vaporization?

The VaporGenie relies on a totally new concept to provide the 'sweet-spot' vaporization temperatures of 107-190 degrees Celsius (225-375 degrees Fahrenheit). The secret to the VaporGenie is the patent-pending flame filter. The flame filter is located above your herb (between the herb and flame). In the pictures, the flame filter is located within the spherical wood part. The flame filter mixes heat from the flame with cold, ambient air. The flame filter is specially designed to mix the flame and cool air and provide vaporization temperatures.

The flame filter is also specially designed to withstand the flame heat for many years. It is made of high-purity silicon carbide, one of the most inert and heat-resistant ceramics known. Silicon carbide is made of only silicon and carbon, in a diamond crystal structure. Silicon carbide does not contain metals and so will not contaminate your vapor or create metallic flavors. The ceramic filter does not burn, fracture, or deteriorate. It will never need replacement.

The wood of the VaporGenie is finely sanded smooth and is sealed with natural a food grade varnish that reveals beautiful wood grain patterns. There are no glues, adhesives other toxic chemicals used in the VaporGenie.

All the metal parts in the VaporGenie are either stainless steel or chrome plated for inertness. The VaporGenie comes with a stainless steel screen and stainless steel bowl.

From mouthtip to the center of the bowl (where the flame enters), the VaporGenie is 13 cm.

The VaporGenie is used in a manner very similar to a conventional pipe. That's what makes it so easy to use.

First, the pipe is loaded with herb, and then the flame filter is screwed onto the pipe. It is important to use loose, shredded herb; do not pack.

Then, you inhale from the pipe while supplying flame to the flame filter. The flame filter automatically protects the herb from burning. You control the exact temperature by adjusting the amount of flame applied and speed of inhalation. It is important to not touch the ceramic filter with the flame.

By paying attention to the flavors and heat inhaled, you know the temperature, and can adjust flame application accordingly. Experienced VaporGenie users can keep the air stream temperature to within a range of about 166 degrees Celsius (330 degrees Fahrenheit). This is sufficient temperature control for vaporization.

Unlike electronic vaporizers, the VaporGenie is as portable as a conventional pipe, is less expensive, requires no heat-up time, and is more reliable. There are no electronic gizmos to break in the VaporGenie.

The VaporGenie is an excellent choice for people just starting out with vaporization, and for people who own an electronic vaporizer, but would like to vaporize away from home.

I did a lot of research on portable vaporisers before I went out to buy the VaporGenie (VG). In this research I looked at many different sources for experience with the different vaporisers. In this case I read a lot of user reviews on the internet on all the different kinds of portable vaporisers available, so not only the limited range from Azarius.

ENTHOUSIAMSE
Even though the VG seemed like the way to go in the first stage of my research, I kept on looking, but in the end came back to the VG. I bought the oak version. After months of problem less use I ordered the maple version for a family member because I realised that everybody should stop combusting and start vaporising!

PERFORMANCE
From the above you might rightfully conclude that I am very happy with my vaporiser! I use it almost daily, mainly for vaporising weed and sometimes hash. After vaporising, the weed is of a darker colour the end product of the non-portable electric Silver Surfer vaporiser, but that’s to be expected. I have also successfully tried it with other herbs and even pulverised wood from the Palo Santo tree (you should try it, you can order it from Azarius). The VG gives a subtle wood taste when used, but nothing too distracting. In other words: GOOD!

PORTABILITY
The portability of this product is good! You can quickly pop it out anywhere as long as it is allowed to smoke there. So this also means in coffeeshops! Some people will think it’s just a pipe, others will look more strange thinking you are using a crack pipe. For that exact reason I bought mine in a wood colour as it is less crack pipe looking and more combustion pipe.

QUALITY
About the quality of the product I have no issues! You can even order screens, pipe cleaners and mouthpieces for FREE at the VaporGenie website (DON’T MISUSE THIS SERVICE!).

CONCLUSION
Very decent product that you can take with you very easily and which will bring you lots of joy. If you are only looking for a vaporiser to use at home this can be a nice cheap alternative to the more expensive electrical ones. If you however do have some extra money around I strongly suggest you buy the Silver Surfer Vaporiser which is just extraordinary good!!!

Well, this litte pipe can vaporize, if you don't know what vaporizing is about : HEALTHIER, TASTIER, STRONGER.

That is what vaporizing gives you with your herbs.

The product by itself is not really beautifull, I would even say that it is pretty ugly. The material used is not the best and most ergonomic (those who used to smoke with real tobacco pipes will understand). The mouth piece is not well done (all the real good grandpa' pipes use to have something for your teeth to help you keep the pipe in your mouth very easily), also the weight is disproportionnate, so you can't hold it in your mouth without having to use a lot of strengh, not the nicest.
You have to use your two hands to use this pipe.

The bowl is large enough, no complaints there!

It can't burn you if you want to change it when baked.

All in all, you just need a lighter, this pipe and your herbs for a good trip, vaporizing is so simple with this. ”

It helps to understand that after having been heated up to temperature, the ceramic filter for a few seconds actually heats the air you suck in, even after you've cut the torch. There is indeed a slight learning curve to the Vapor Genie, due to the fact that you are vaping "blindly," but weird as it sounds, it helps to visualize the process while doing it. You can totally make this vape your own. The quality of the vapor is very good and flavorsome if you do it right, and the high of vapor tends to be, for me anyway, a stronger, purer high, with less of the sluggishness I get from regular toking. This is probably due to the fact that different alkoloids in the herb are inhaled, as opposed to when it is burned. Oh, and here's a neat thing I tried tonight. I filled the chamber with a pinch of white widow, vaped up as usual, but after holding the vapor in for a few seconds, exhaled into a sandwich bag, then inhaled that again before starting up another round. I am most definitely twice as high than normal now off one very modest bowl.”
