Usage

Each capsule contains 50 mg of 5-HTP from Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract, microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate.

Warning

Excess 5-HTP, especially when administered with vitamin B6, causes the liver to metabolize 5-HTP into serotonin, which may result in heart valve damage or disease (cardiac fibrosis). When combined with an MAOi or SSRI, 5-HTP can cause acute serotonin syndrome.

Do not use when pregnant or when breastfeeding. Consult your health care specialist when combining 5-HTP with MAO inhibitors, antidepressants, other medication or (prescription) drugs and/or when suffering from cardio-vascular diseases. This product may cause drowsiness. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool and dry place.
