I love Damiana in tea and smoking. It is an aphrodisiac and it will help the blood flow down there as well as make the experience of love making more intense (almost like rolling on E but not as strong). You smoke it for a while and you develop a tolerance. The first time I smoked it, my girlfriend and I had the most amazing sensual sex. Now it's just a mood stabilizer, tastes better than weed, it's cheap.
I've smoked it mixed in a spliff with weed and it produced pleasant hallucinations when I closed my eyes. It's wonderful. -

didnt work for me when i smoked it at all
but when i drank the tea it made me really relaxed and and calm but it only lasted for about 45 minutes -

OMG! I've been smoking pot for a year now and I discovered Damiana about a month ago. I have since then quit smoking pot since I had such a high tolerance to it, it didn't even get me very high anymore. One thing that stands out most to me about Damiana is the aphrodisiac effect. I get soooo completely turned on every time I smoke it.
My body quickly starts to tingle especially around my breasts and vagina, making me feel like I can orgasm easily without even having anyone or myself touching down there! I can't say enough great things about this stuff. It is cheap, legal to buy at smoke shops, doesn't show up on drug tests, and the high is great. Don't overdo it the first time you hit it, it can come on pretty strong. I also love that the high hits you fast and strong, then lasts about 30 minutes or so, then I get a relaxing "warm, fuzzy feeling" after that for another hour.
A couple times though I did smoke too much and for about 10 minutes I was a little paranoid because I couldn't think straight. I felt retarded, like as if I were a baby, not understanding my thoughts and just sort of taking it all in. Don't try it the first time alone, have someone with you at first. I never smoke it while driving. This is great for women that have trouble reaching orgasm like I did. No problems now! LOL. And my boyfriend loves that effect, too! My only worry is that word will spread that this is a legal high and it will be banned! -

Had 1 hit last night and tripped balls for about an hour. My body felt like water and i just sat there laughing. very good intense high. I had about 5 minutes of paranoia when my friends left, scary as hell but was fine straight after. definitely doing this stuff again!!

I was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder 12 years ago and put on medications of various kinds as the effects and tolerances changed over the years. 2 years ago when I told my doctor I was going to Los Cabos to treated for my back injury he suggested I try the local damiana for 6 months. I no longer take the bi-polar meds and blood pressure med as my pressure is normal now and my sleep cycles have been much better. I rarely have bad feelings and sleep well without pills. I have been drinking damiana tea for 18 months and feel great. It helps me have more sex and be more responsive to my young girlfriend.
Recently I did not use it as much and noticed the old bi-polar feeling returning after going without it for 7 to 10 days so I am again using the tea and very happy, it keeps me of the pills. -

The following is my review of the herb Damiana. I have used it as an infusion for three weeks and am otherwise an extremely lucid, clear headed and clear blooded person. The herb did affect genetalia and temperament as described in most info on-line. But I have found it also caused depression spells after stopping to use it. These diminished progressively over several weeks.
A friend of mine who has also used the herb told me of a similar reaction and the post by Blackfire seems to further confirm that ths is a common drawback of the herb. Anything that makes you contemplate suicide, even in the least, should be considered dangerous. Use exteme caution! -

Damiana gets you high, if you've ever tried Salvia , Damiana can access it and make you have visual trips, I've had a few trip's off Damiana, one being aliens & zombie's attacking, I used to take Damiana constantly, used with any other drug it will boost any high, it also lowers your tolerance to alcohol, I've tried quitting Damiana a few times. I found it very difficult , I wasn't able to eat correctly, I became hopelessly depressed, I even contemplated suicide.
I was addicted to smoking Damiana, I'd smoke a fat bowl with a gram joint, (it lasts longer when used out of a joint) Damiana is similar to weed, you stop caring about thing & other's around you, stronger strains of Damiana such as Dragon Fire, or Posh come in flavour's , each flavour has a different high, after 6 months of constant use of Damiana I got into a car accident , I found it really hard to pay attention to the road.
I stopped using Damiana and all other drugs after the car crash. Damiana is cheap and lasts for about 30 minuets-4 hour's depending on your own personal tolerance , some people (like me) need to take a lot of Damiana (for about a week) to actually feel the high, some people can be in the clouds with one hit. -

Damiana is perfect for when your all out of bud.. its cheap and it gets you that after feeling, like when the weed is wearing off. I think it works best in a water pipe, you have to use it a couple of times to get the effect, like the first time i smoked weed i didn't get high. very relaxing more clear headed high, definatly not as strong as weed and short lasting too...
