Mexican Tarragon (Tagetes lucida)

Tagetes Lucida, also known as Mexican Tarragon, Yauhtli and Sweet marigold, is a member of the Sunflower family (Asteraceae or Compositae). It is a beautiful, bright green perennial herb from the Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico.

In ceremonies, the Huichol Indians reportedly have visions when smoking the herb in combination with the consumption of fermented Tarragon tea. The fresh herb is used worldwide for cooking, because of its savoury anise-like flavour.
Effects
Tagetes Lucida is said to produce everything from euphoria to "closed-eye-images" that are similar to those of Peyote.
The herb is also used to relax the stomach and for feeling better after consuming large quantities of alcohol.
Usage
Drink as tea, or use in small amounts for cooking.

“this is definitely psychedelic I took a tea extract about 10 grams lasted for 3 hours completely relaxed peaceful feeling like everything was alright everything around me looked like it was filled with light hard got sleepy(good for using before bed) since I have stomach problems this actually helped my stomach a lot.
I also use this in combination with other drugs like ayahuasca because it helps relieve nausea and gives you a bit of euphoria which in turn granted me a nice trip (even though the ayahuasca trip was very light)”

“I tried smoking it and I made also a tea of it. Smoking it has a good taste (DON`T MIX IT WITH TOBACCO, it`s awful) and is a bit relaxing.
I made a tea of it and drunk it as breakfast. Particular taste, a bit relax, but no closed-eye-allucinacions”
