Mushroom Grow Kit 'Basic' Cambodia

Our former Starter's Grow Kit, with some minor adjustments.
The Mushroom Grow Kit Basic will introduce you to the basics of home magic mushroom cultivation. In four steps you will learn more about the rice flour cake method (or PF Tek). Once you have mastered these techniques, you can experiment further. Before you know it, you are a pro!
This cultivation kit requires sterilization of the growth medium and you will have to perform a daily check and adjustments on moisture levels during the growth cycle. This takes some practice and feel, but in the end that is what makes home cultivation so much fun – experimenting with growth parameters to aim for optimal results.
The fully illustrated manual includes chapters about the life cycle and growing conditions for mushrooms. This information will allow you to maximize yields.

- Produces multiple harvests
- Yield: 300-450 g fresh Psilocybe cubensis 'Cambodian' magic mushrooms

STEP 1 – Prepare the cultivation boxesMix 2/3 of the vermiculite (600 ml) with 220 g rice flour. Add 300 ml of water and mix thoroughly. Loosely fill up the cultivation boxes until 1 cm from the top of the box. Wipe the upper edge clean and fill the boxes with the remaining vermiculite.
STEP 2 - Sterilize the substrateSterilize the boxes in a pressure cooker for 60 minutes at 121°C. You can also use a normal cooking pan, provided it has a lid that closes well.
STEP 3 - Inject the mushroom sporesInject a total of 2-3 ml of the spore suspension into each cultivation box. Put the cultivation boxes in a warm, dark place (20-28°C). After two to four weeks all kernels are covered with white mycelium.
STEP 4 - Mushroom GrowthWhen the substrate is covered in white mycelium, the mycelium can be exposed to light and fresh air. Remove the lids and mist the top once. Put the cultivation boxes in the grow bags and moderately mist the inside of the bags. Check daily and mist the top layer and inside of the bags when necessary. The first shrooms will appear after approximately 14 days.

“Got the package really quick and everything was alright. Unfortunately lost 5/6 boxes i made to an ugly black contamination but I guess aza's not to blame for that. The one I got was pretty nice and I learned a lot about growing itself, so the investment was surely not lost.”

“Very nice package. I just one to comment on sth.
In the manual, there is writen that you must close the boxes completely (exept small holes) and fill the pressure cooker with few cm of water. I did that and my boxes was deform and paste to the bottom of cooker!
I went to "filter jar" page and there is writen: "Sterilize the substrate in the jars with the lid closed for 3/4". OK, next time i will rather try with more water and lids closed 3/4.
When I will use all of mine filter jars (made out of plastic) I think I will start using glass jars!”

How long should it take from the moment i take off the lid and put the boxes into the filterbags until the mushrooms start commming?
It have now past almost 2 weeks, no sign of any mushrooms. The mycel is clear white, and everything look good allright, but I am a bit worried. Thought it would take less than 2 weeks, but maby I am wrong..?
