Peruvian Torch (Trichocereus peruvianus)

This is a young cutting of the Peruvian Torch (Trichocereus peruvianus), a member of the San Pedro family, which you can put in the earth to grow. It is shipped without soil.

I got a cutting 10 months ago in a excellent condition, hard as a rock, with fully formed callus. It was 16cm long and very fat. Up to this moment it almost doubled in length...

Very nice cactus, wih roots allready growing at the stem. - The tip was damaged a bit, but new buds will probably start growing there, so thats not a bad thing. - btw. its not 10 times as strong as san pedro. its somewhere between half as strong to 8 times as strong.

This cactus grows 30 cm every year and has ten times the amount of mescaline as the San Pedro cactus. I bought a big one and planted it in the biggest pot I had just in case I get hungry... Now this is a cactus!!
