This peyote cluster shows in a beautiful way how the Fibonacci sequence can be found in nature.
The small thornless peyote cactus (Lophophora williamsii) originates from the south of Texas and northern Mexico. [ Azarius: The big one is at least several years in the making. As for exact dosage, it's hard to say. We recommend checking on Erowid. ]

“Question for you guys:
If i buy a medium sized cluster would it be ready to consume on arrival? Or would I have to grow it more?
Also, I wouldn't eat all of it (probably just a few buttons). So how would I go about removing some but not damaging the rest of them so it would keep growing?
Thanks!
[ Azarius: Technically yes, the Peyote would be ready for consumption right away, though we normally recommend letting it grow a bit bigger. The medium one might not initially be big enough for a good trip. As for growing from a cutting, you can read this article (especially the bottom paragraph): http://azarius.net/encyclopedia/57/How_to_grow_a_cactus/
Good luck! If you need any more help, you can also e-mail our customer support ]”
