Trichocereus bridgesii cutting

This is a young cutting of the Trichocereus bridgesii, a beautiful blue, grey member of the San Pedro family. It is not large enough for consumption yet, but you can put it in the earth to grow. We do not ship it with soil.

Trichocereus bridgesii is a fast-growing columnar cactus from the high deserts of Bolivia. It can grow 2–5 m tall with stems of up to 15–20 cm in diameter. Among the indigenous populations of Bolivia, both cacti T. bridgesii and T. pachanoi are also known as Achuma or Wachuma.

T. bridgesii contains about the same concentration of mescaline as the T. pachanoi cactus.

This cactus is a rapid and easy grower. It can be easily grown from seed. It tolerates a lot when it comes to its ideal growing circumstances. Therefore this cactus is perfect for the beginning cultivator. Under normal circumstances it will grow about 30 centimetres each year. In the summer it needs a lot of sun. A few hours of direct sunlight and the rest of the day in indirect sunlight is the optimal sun exposure. When the roots have fully grown it needs only a little bit of water. Standard cactus soil will do for growing this species.

Available in two sizes: 6 - 8 cm and 20 - 25 cm.

Mescaline cacti allow you to explore your inner mind's world. Because the amount of mescaline varies between different kinds of the Trichocereus genus, it is difficult to estimate how heavy the trip will be. Regardless, this cactus will give a less threatening and overwhelming trip than Peyote, and it also does not call on as much nausea.

Do not combine with alcohol, MAO-Inhibitors or other stimulants.
Do not use when pregnant, nursing, depressed, on medication, driving motorized vehicles, under 18 years old.
When you're using San Pedro make sure there's someone with you to assist you when necessary.

“It has been less than two months since planting and the cutting already developed a vast root system and two pups that are already 1-2cm above the ground. Wow! There seems to be a massive life force in this plant. My other Tricho's haven't even begun rooting yet.

Looking forward to trying it in a year or two!”
