Kratom leaves Thai

Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) is indigenous to the rain forests of South East Asia, mainly Thailand and Malaysia. It is a large tree that can reach 15 meters. Over 25 alkaloids have been isolated from kratom, the most important being mitragynine.

In Thailand it was used in many dishes, before it was banned by the governement.
As mitragynine suppresses opiate withdrawal, kratom is said to be a (temporary) cure for opium addiction. A small minority of users use kratom to prolong sexual intercourse.
These are 100% top quality leaves, not a blend. You only need a small quantity. The kratom leaves Thai are the strongest one available.
Effects
The effects of the Thai kratom leaves tend to be less euphoric then of the Bali and Malaysia kratom leaves. However, Thai kratom leaves are said to be more energizing. Therefore, it depends on your mood and your wishes which kratom you want to use.
Effects come on within five to ten minutes after use, and last for several hours. Kratom has both stimulating and depressant qualities as if chewing coca leaves and smoking opium simultaneously. Some sources say that it is a stimulant in lower doses, becoming sedative in higher doses. The dominant effects seem to be similar to opiate drugs, including analgesia, roughly comparable in strength to codeine. Unlike opiates, mitragynine does not appear to cause nausea or vomiting. The feeling has been described as happy, strong, and active, with a strong desire to do work. Other effects of mitragynine are local anesthesia and central nervous system depression. Heavy use can result in a prolonged sleep.
Usage
The leaves of kratom are grinded and eaten, usually followed by drinking warm water, tea or coffee. Leaves can also be made into a tea, or a crude resin extraction can be made. This resin extract is made by preparing a water extract of the leaves, boiling it down, and then shaping it into small ball.
An normal dose contains 3 - 5 grams, depending on the potency of the leaves.
Warning
We advise not to participate in traffic or other activities that demand your concentration.
Usage of kratom in high dosages may be mildly addictive. Acute side effects include dry mouth, loss of appetite and constipation. Side effects from long term use include anorexia and weight loss, insomnia, and a darkening of the skin, particularly on the cheeks.
Do not combine wit MAO-inhibitors.

“I consume 3-5 grams of Thai Kratom powder mixed with 3 big spoons of yoghurt and 1 tea spoon of honey (on a not too full stomach). Tastes quite ok. You will feel totally relaxed. However if you try to sleep you'll realise that you are too fit to do so (so only take it if you plan to stay up for 3-4 more hours). If you start being active the Kratom will push you and the more you do, the more energy you feel. I like it at lot.
(A tip: It really takes some time to realise the effects that this herb can have on you. Try 2-3 times and maybe higher the dose before you say that it does no effect...)”

“In Thailand I usually eat the fresh kratom leaves - staright off the tree. The taste is extremely bitter and I struggle to get them down everytime. However, once in the stomach, the effect is surprisingly quick to set in. Small dosages (1-5 leaves) tend to get me "speedy", aroused and talkative. Higher dosages (5-20 leaves, consumed at once) have a "downer" effect much like a opium-like state of mind and body. The small dosages work great as a party starter/advancer in combination with alcohol whereas the higher dosages, for me, are incompatible with alcohol. The shredded leaves we get in Europe i would recommend eating. They are, needless to say, not that easy to consume. But dont be fastidious; put a handfull in your mouth and be sure to have plenty of water to gulp it down with. Take another handfull if needed.”
