CBD is the non-psychoactive ingredient in cannabis that helps to combat all kinds of pain, especially chronic pain. Many CBD users also report less stress, more tranquillity and a better night's sleep. At the end of 2017, the Expert Committee on Drug Dependence issued a report on behalf of the World Health Organization (WHO), which showed that there were even indications that CBD possesses anti-inflammatory, antipsychotic and anti-epileptic properties. But first… why oil?
First of all, an answer to the question: why should I choose oil? Well, here’s the deal. When it comes to the medicinal effects of CBD, oral intake via CBD oil is preferable because if you smoke cannabis the chemical composition of the product changes and the medicinal effect decreases. Taking it orally is simple: drop a few times a day the desired amount of drops under your tongue with the pipette, or add it to something tasty to eat or drink. Choose the force
All our CBD oils consist of natural CBD extract, dissolved in vegetable oil. The high-quality CBD oil that we sell varies in strength between 2.5% and 10% CBD. The content of CBD in the oil logically determines the power of the effects of the oil. But how do you determine what is the right strength of product for you? This is difficult to determine in advance, because the effect is different per person. The lowest dose is 2.5% and is also used for children and pets. For an adult it can be too low to have an effect, but when in doubt you can start with this strength. After about two weeks, the effects should be noticeable. Don’t you notice anything? Then you can increase the amount of drops you take or choose a stronger extract. A CBD oil of medium strength is around 5%, which is a popular choice. Do you want to make sure you have some strong stuff? Then go for a CBD content of 10%.

How do you determine the dose?
Determining your ideal dose requires a little puzzling and takes some patience. It is always wise to start calmly, because the CBD has a build-up period and it can take about two weeks before you experience the full effect. Depending on the strength of the oil, the manufacturer usually recommends starting with 1 to 4 drops per intake, a few times a day. If you notice nothing or little after two weeks, you can then increase the dose, for example by adding a droplet daily until you notice the desired effect. Still nothing happening after two weeks? Then add another intake moment or switch to a stronger oil. It’s also possible that your dose is too high by now, and that the CBD had more effect at a lower dose. Then decrease the dose a little. Feel free to experiment a little with more or fewer drops, and pay good attention to your body.
How do you want to consume the CBD-oil?
Imagine: you know what strength CBD oil you want to try and full of enthusiasm you order a bottle. Curiously you drop the stuff under your tongue, and ... you don’t like the taste. According to some users, CBD oil tastes a little bit like wheatgrass, which is perhaps not everyone's cup of tea. No worries! There are several things that you can do. Firstly, you can put the oil in something you do like, like a juice or a porridge. An even easier way of taking CBD is via a capsule. You can buy them ready-made or buy capsules yourself to fill with oil. Note: your body will take the CBD the fastest and best if you drop it under the tongue.
