Interdisciplinary Conference on Psychedelic Research (Amsterdam, 6-7 October 2012)

After a succesful first edition in 2010, Dutch OPEN Foundation (Stichting Open) will once again host a congres with a programme filled with all the latest in cutting edge scientific research into a wide array of psychotropic substances such as psilocybin, LSD, ayahuasca, ibogaine, DMT, ketamine, MDMA, Salvia divinorum and even nitrous oxide.

The Interdisciplinary Conference on Psychedelic Research provides a stage where researchers will present their studies on psychedelics and for scholars to reflect on the legal and philosophical implications thereof. The study of these substances is approached from various angles: from psychopharmacological research in human subjects to sociological and anthropological observations and groundbreaking neuropharmacological research. The interdisciplinary character makes this conference relevant to students and academics from a multitude of backgrounds.
