Microdosing has been increasing in popularity for a long time now. Taking a really small dose (microdose) of magic truffles doesn’t give you a full-blown trip. Instead, it allows you to function normally - you don’t get hallucinations or other effects that might be inconvenient in your day to day life.

Generally, microdosing tends to enhance one's well-being and performance in a subtle way - without negative consequences. You will be able to function normally in your day to day life, but might notice that things you do feel easier and more enjoyable.
Here follows a list of some possible effects:
- Increased alertness
- Better focus
- Enhanced creativity
- More energy
- A happy, uplifted feeling
- More aware of one’s surroundings
- More open in social situations
On top of that, recent research has shown that microdosing psychedelics possibly could relieve symptoms of depression and anxiety. Although this is amazing news, it’s important to realise that the research is still at an early stage. So if you have depression or anxiety, please do not self-medicate with psychedelics, and consult a doctor first.

How to microdose with truffles
First of all, a warning. At this moment, not a lot of research has been done on microdosing truffles. Be really careful and always listen to the signs of your body. Using psychedelics can have risks.
First of all, you will obviously need some truffles. Do keep in mind that different types of truffles have different strengths. If you choose a strong truffle, you will need less to have the same effect.
In our webshop, you can find an awesome selection of many different truffle strains. We also offer a handy trip chart that tells you everything about the strength and effects of the truffles.

If you want to prepare your microdose, you have to grind your truffles into a powder. The ideal microdosing dosage differs per person, and depends on the following factors:
- The strength of the truffles
- Your brain chemistry
- Your experience
- Your weight
- What and how much you ate
- And many other factors
We can, however, give you the following advice: a microdose is typically 1/10th to 1/20th of a regular dose. A typical microdose of dried truffles is around 0.3 grams. If you use fresh truffles, you need around 0.5 grams.
If you don’t get any effect, or if you feel too trippy, you should adjust the dosage the next time you take a microdose. If you pay good attention to the effects, you can figure out what dosage is exactly right for you.

How to prepare a truffles microdose
If you want to properly prepare a microdose of truffles, you need a scale. It needs to be very precise, as you will have to work with extremely low dosages. A precision scale gives reliable and precise results for perfect measurements.
Capsules are also handy to have. You can fill every capsule with one microdose - which makes it easy to store and use.
You can grind up your truffles with a truffle grinder. Of course, there are other ways to do it, but using a truffle grinder is the most efficient one.
How to microdose truffles
And now for the most important part. How do you go about it? The general advice is to take one microdose every four days, for ten weeks in a row.
You might be wondering why you should only take it once every four days. The answer is, it’s pointless to take a microdose more often than that. Your body builds up a tolerance for psilocybin after the first microdose that lasts for about two days.
A typical microdosing week looks like this:
Day 1: microdose
Day 2: nothing
Day 3: nothing
Day 4: microdose
Day 5: nothing
Day 6: nothing
Day 7: microdose
You can make this easier for yourself by using a (real life or digital) calendar to not forget your microdose.
