Product information

Palo Santo means 'holy wood'. It's the Spanish name for Bursera graveolens. This tree inhabits the South American Gran Chaco region (northern Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia and the Brazilian Mato Grosso). Palo Santo is used by shamans at special cleansing ceremonies and rituals. It has a surprisingly strong and sweet smell.

Palo Santo - usage

This essential oil is believed to hold the same spiritual power of purification as present in the sacred Palo Santo tree. In Inca tradition, it was used to cleanse mind and body of negative energy.
