Product information

Lupulin is the glandular powder separated from the strobiles of the Humulus lupulus (hops) plant. It has sedative effects on the body and mind and stimulates sleep. This powder is separated by beating or rubbing the strobiles of hops, and then sifting them. The sifting is necessary to remove the broken bracts and other vegetable parts. About 10 percent of lupulin is thus obtained from the dried hops.
The powder is bright brownish-yellow and becomes resinous. Lupulin is chemically related to THC.

Lupulin has the odour and common taste of hop.

Lupulin effects

Lupulin has the same sedative effects as hop, but due to the sifting it is stronger.
Gives a mild high with relaxing qualities. Works well as a relaxation for the nerves and provides a better sleep.

The powder is used in a medical manner for delirium tremens, wakefulness, anxiety and exhaustion. It allays irritation and promotes sleep.

It is a sedative belonging to the same category as valerian, skullcap and passion flower.

Preparing Lupulin

To prepare some tea: mix 150 ml of boiled water with 1 teaspoon of Lupulin. Because the taste is bitter you can add some honey. Use about 0,5 grams for 1 cup of tea. 1 teaspoon is about 0,4 grams.

Good to replace cannabis for former cannabis smokers.
*effect: a long mid high if you take it sporadically.
Smoke of the resin feels like cannabis hash, you need 0.2g to make a joint.

I make lupulin resin myself with hops plant.
The yellow/brown powder, once collected is pressed with fingers and become a resin, i put it in tobacco, and make tea with vegetal parts left.

How to: take 10g of plant, sieve on a sheet of papers, you'll get 0.8g of resin, enjoy!
material: 2 sheet of papers, 1 tool to sieve (0.3 mm will do it well).

(No I didn't pass out, but I think You get the picture?)
I was kind of exhausted to begin with, but appearently it was Very hard waking me up. I was spoken to with high voices, but I just kept snoring on. - Very good for sleeping!

I'll try it again when I'm in better shape. More alert, that is.
It's just that the taste is almost unbearable, but this is probably because I simply hate this specific taste. It's like beer. Very, very bitter beer, and I can't even stand drinking beer. It maybe tastes good to You who likes beer, who knows?
I'm still wondering about how to get a milder taste to it. Honey and sugar wasn't enough.
Well. Drowsy, lowered anxiety and really good sleep. That's not bad at all! :)
