Damiana herb (Turnera diffusa) consists of the dried leaves of a bush which grows in the tropical areas of America.
The Aztec believed Damiana was a potent aphrodisiac. The herb was also used by wiccans in their ceremonies. They believed that Damiana possessed powers as an aphrodisiac and that burning the herb can generate visions. It was also drunk as a tea by many tribes throughout South and Central America.
